The problem we lived every day
Running a pharmacy, we saw the same thing happen again and again: a patient would come in for a flu jab, a blood pressure check, or a weight loss consultation. We would deliver a great service. They would leave happy. And we would never see them again.
It was not because the service was bad. It was because nobody followed up. No reminder for their next appointment. No check-in to see how they were doing. No prompt to rebook when the time was right.
We were leaving thousands of pounds on the table every year — and worse, our patients were not getting the continuity of care they deserved.
